Homesick's "How To Run Away" is an homage to the old school, early 2000s pop punk sound and post hardcore sound popularized by bands like blink-182 and Senses Fail, but with unobtrusive contemporary genre leanings sprinkled throughout. After a year of tumultuous and personal hardships, Homesick fined tuned and focused their musical direction into their definitive sound: a unique mix of classic pop punk and modern day melodic hardcore.
